Florida Institute of Technology was founded in 1958 as "Brevard Engineering College." It all started as an idea in the mind of Jerome P. Keuper, Ph.D., a visionary physicist working at Cape Canaveral (now NASA Kennedy Space Center). Florida Institute of Technology’s mission is to provide high-quality education to a culturally diverse student body in order to prepare students for entering the global workforce, seeking higher-education opportunities, and serving within their communities. High Point University is a private institution that was founded in 1924. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 5,200, has a campus size of over 430 acres, and offers over 50 majors. HPU utilizes a semester-based academic calendar and is ranked Number 1 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 edition of Best Regional Colleges in the South.
HPU is located on the east coast of the United States—in the City of High Point—a city of 10,000, and is a member of the Piedmont Triad – an area with a population of over 1.4 million people. The High Point University student body currently represents 37 countries and 50 states.

Middle Tennessee State University
Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) was founded in 1911 and has grown to become the second largest university in the state of Tennessee. UAB offers Undergraduate and Graduate degrees, Pathway Programs, and Academic English. Through Pathway Programs students build the academic foundation and English language skills to successfully move on to degree programs. UAB has a 5-level, CEA accredited Academic English Program with 3 different intakes each year and a special 8 week October intake each Fall semester.

Conditional admission is available for students needing English language training. Students who are conditionally admitted will attend the Spring International Language Center before beginning their regular academic program of study.
