    Illinois College offers a comprehensive liberal arts experience that focuses on hands-on learning and the impact that comes from close faculty and student interactions. All IC graduates will leave the college having completed one or more internship, undergraduate research project, or other hands-on learning opportunity. With an average class size of 16, students can expect to have professors who care about them as individuals and seek to mentor their professional development.     Indiana Tech is a small, private, non-profit 4-year university in Fort Wayne Indiana. Over time, we have become one of strongest universities in the Midwest region.     The University of Evansville, located in the third largest city in Indiana, is home to about 2,500 students from 43 states and over 50 countries. The University has been educating students for about 160 years and boasts over 30, 000 alumni from around the world. The current international student population includes about 400 international students, about 15% of the total student population on campus.

     

    More than 80 undergraduate programs are offered. Our College of Engineering and Computer Science holds ABET accreditation and the School of Business Administration is AACSB International accredited, the top accreditations awarded to such programs. The University is ranked by the U.S News and World Report as a top ten university among master’s granting universities in the Midwest; the University’s campus in the United Kingdom, Harlaxton College, has been ranked as the #1 study abroad program in America.

     

    Generous academic based scholarships are available to international students demonstrating outstanding academic performance; the University is SAT/ACT test optional but does require proof of English proficiency.     The University of Kansas (KU) is a tier-one, public research university with an enrollment of 28,000 students including 2,100 International students from over 100 countries. KU has thirteen academic departments and offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in over 200 major areas of study. Popular undergraduate majors include Engineering, Business, Biological Sciences, Journalism and Mass Communications, Psychology, and Architecture. KU students also enjoy research, internship, study abroad, and other educational enrichment opportunities. KU alumni include world leaders, CEOs, inventors, astronauts, Nobel Prize winners, and international sports and entertainment celebrities. Additionally, KU's Applied English Center (AEC) is one of the oldest intensive English programs in the US and is now offering courses virtually through AEC Online. Students may be admitted to their chosen academic degree program prior to meeting minimum English proficiency requirements. Students then have the option to submit passing English test scores or may begin their studies with English language coursework before transitioning into academic studies. KU offers various merit-based scholarships to its students. Scholarships range from 3000 USD to a full tuition fee waiver.

     

    KU is offering online course options to eligible international students who are currently unable to study on campus due to COVID-19.

    The University of Missouri (MU or Mizzou) is a comprehensive research university offering over 300 degree programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Founded in 1839, Mizzou is a proud member of the Association of American Universities (AAU), an invitation-only group of 62 of the top teaching and research institutions in all of North America.

     

    Mizzou is located in Columbia, Missouri – a small, safe city that consistently ranks as one of the best college-towns in the US. The campus is located in the downtown area, which is filled with cafés, shops, music venues, theaters, and restaurants. The city hosts annual festivals for film, music, and food. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy many parks and trails for biking, walking, or hiking. The Islamic Center of Central Missouri is located just one block from the campus.

     

    MU enrolls nearly 30,000 students from all 50 US states and over 100 countries from around the world. The student to faculty ratio of 18:1 means that students are able to take advantage of all the opportunities of a major research university while having access to faculty and staff like on a smaller campus. The Office of Sponsored Students in the Mizzou International Center provides specialized service to students with sponsored scholarships.

    Students who do not yet meet university English requirements may apply to begin their studies with the Intensive English Program (IEP). International applicants do not have to submit SAT or ACT scores for admission consideration and transfer students from English speaking institutions may not have to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
